Walthamstow is a town in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, northeast London. It is 6.4 miles (10.3km) north east of Charing Cross. Walthamstow is bordered to the north by the town of Chingford, south by the towns of Leyton and Leytonstone, east by the southern reaches of Epping Forest at Woodford and west by Tottenham and the River Lea valley.
